Analytical
Here we analyse in detail the root cause of an unwanted symptom or behaviour these are often but not exclusively created during the childhood years when sensitivity is  high and intellectual ability to understand a situation is lower than adulthood. The therapist helps to guide the client to resolving any hidden conflicts.

This process is used in other disciplines  such as counselling and psychotherapy however due to the power of hypnosis in allowing both conscious and subconscious parts to the mind to work harmoniously the results are often far quicker, than other methods.

This is not to say that hypnoanalysis is a better tool than other complimentary and alternative therapies only that in many cases it is a fast effective way to relieve long standing problems for good.
Suggestion
This is where the hypnotist will introduce ideas and concepts to the sub conscious which appear appealing to the sub conscious which may be discarded by the conscious brain if it were spoken outside of hypnosis.  This approach can be used to alleviate many problem areas such as fears, phobias, breaking habits, stopping smoking, and relieving stress.  Suggestion works at the here and now  attempting to create change that appeals with the thought process of the sub conscious so that new response patterns are created to alleviate the symptoms.
